I'm also interested to know if there are any updates here. I've been working on getting very high quality prints of a gently-curved object acquired from a photogrammetric scan. It's reached the point where the "zebra stripes" are far more visually distracting than the layer artifacts (which are barely visible at all at 0.06mm layer height with a 0.25mm nozzle). I'm considering buying a "knock-off" board to try out the resistor mod. So any updates on people's successes (or failures) a few months down the track would be very useful. Edit: below is a close-up of the zebra-stripes I'm getting. (This particular print also has one dodgy layer. Please ignore that; I have others without the dodgy layer. This one just happens to show the stripes particularly well.)
