Hi, I have quite same issue for inconsistent layer flow with UM2 and Octoprint. After many tests, it seems to come from Cura slicing, bu did not find what happens. Did you solve your problems since then?

I use Dimafix because I had sticking problems with first layer with ABS, event using glue. I think it is the best for thi kind of problems: once applied, it sticks like HELL at 85°. no warping with ABS on very large surface. My preferred use for problematic materials...

M'en parle pas ! J'ai commandé mon UM2 au 30/12/2015 :( le jour ou je la récupère, je découvre la nouvelle page de Makershop avec la 2+ (argh...) J'ai déjà posé une réclamation chez Makershop pour obtenir une remise ou au moins le kit de MAJ vers 2+ gratuit. Ce serait la moindre des choses.
