  1. Thats it! I sliced it to use a .6mm nozzle, but didn't realize that changes the print temp. Why would you want that increase in temp? When printing that hot the PLA just turns kind of sloppy so I have been pulling it back down to about 205C where its printing much cleaner. Is there a way to change that in Cura? I haven't seen anything that deals with temp.
  2. I have the UM2+, and have recently put the most current firmware on it. When printing in PLA, the print temp setpoint is 230C, even though the set temp in the material menu is 210C. Can someone give me some insight into what is happening and how to fix it?
  3. I had this exact same thing happen to me in my Y axis today. I've been looking for replacements for somewhere other than the reseller, but nothing has the same part number. Does anyone know what else would be a direct replacement? It seems silly to buy one when I can buy three for the same price and have a spare in case of a failure of the other ones.
  4. Sorry, I guess that's vital information. Its the UM2. and yes I tried it with 2 other cards, and the same thing happened.
  5. I have not had this issue before. I printed something off the SD card, then removed it, put another file on it and put it back in the printer. I can get it to read all of the files that were on the card previously, but not the new ones. It is the card that came with the printer, A 4GB SDHC I have not changed any setting both on the printer and in Cura. I formatted the card, and now all it reads is the "System Volume Information" folder which is empty. I can see the gcode files in windows explorer, so they are being written to the card. Any ideas as to what happened in the hour between starting my last print and trying to start my next one?
