  1. Here is a slice of a miniature which if i printed would be almost impossible to get clean: This issue started mostly with the last update of Cura which i believe was 4.3? I have printed mini's before and Cura has never added these orange lines to the model.
  2. I increased my travel speed to 120 we'll see how that works. One question is are the orange lines in the above picture Cura anticipating stringing or is it Cura adding stringing. cause those orange lines are not part of the model.
  3. Hello all, I am having an issue with Cura adding what seems to be strings. The orange lines in the picture below print and are a pain to remove from print. They seem to not serve any function other than to increase clean up time. I have added the printer settings I have on the lower right of the picture. I am using a .8mm head with Amazon PLA Filament. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
  4. After using Sewing Machine Oil on the axis bars the problem is resolved. It seems there must have been sticking while sliding along the rods and the oil fixed it. Thanks Phil
  5. I have an Ultimaker 2 Extended. I have printed about 30 successful large prints prior to this issue. I repeated the print as I thought it was a fluke but the same issue re-surfaced. In the above image the item is supposed to be straight in the vertical direction, but it is printing the S curve about 1cm up from the start position. The above was repeated 2 more times in which I decided to post this asking for help. One thing to note, I noticed that on the X and Y motor some Black Residue, not sure if this is part of the problem or not. Thanks Phil
