  1. hi neotko , may have printed for abour 200 hours, but this issue has been there even when the printer was newly procurred. any other ideas ? thanks for replying in..
  2. hi experts, this is the second time i am seeking help for the same problem almost. broadly it seems like underextrusion but i have learnt its much more complex than this. pls check the pictures attached using ultimaker2+ , PLA filament, The extrusion typically stops after a few minutes of printing, the timing & height at which it stops is varying. Everytime this happens, I literally have to go to settings and heat up nozzle to 230 or 260 and then do "move material" and even sometimes remove the bowden tube from the extruder head & manually push down the filament into the nozzle and only then the extrusion happens I have changed the feeder assembly. There is no clog in the nozzle. Have changed the nozzle too. Bed levelling and gcode file have no issues, as the same print prints fully well once and it doesnt later. Have tried changing the 'Current z' setting from 1200 maH to 1100 maH , but its gotten worse. I felt the filament spool was too heavy for the feeder to pull but i noticed that the spool with half the filament(half the weight also) is giving the same result. wat could be wrong ?? pls help as i am losing valuable time and peace of mind
  3. thanks all , will do the same and revert thanks again
  4. hi all, have been using by 5 month old ultimaker on and off whenever i could get time, i have always come across under extrusion issues every once in a while. i do not know wat i could be possibly doing wrong . i use the quicksetting and give a high quality print mostly but still i end up with issues, i correct the tension of the feeder, i unclog the nozzle, i unwind the filament spool (so tat its easier for the feeder to feed the filament), i have opened the feedermechanism and havent found any irregularity in it. i am really fed up , i hope i wasnt shipped out a defective ultimaker. enclosed is the image , if anybody could help , a lot of my time is wasted in doing trial and error & i feel i constantly need to keep a check on my print every 15 mins , which is very annoying. the only pysical damge issue that i could think of is that the pressure indicator broke once when myself & the local installation technician were trying to fix the under extrusion issue couple of months back..(but i always ensure that the screw is at the highest point) please please help
  5. thanks a ton , ultiarjan... was able to dismantle and find the clogged filament between the rotors. cleared it . but now i have bumped into a new problem, the screws jus dont seem to tighten (the 4 screws that hold the feeders casing). tried a lot , vain in the end. tried pushing the filament manually into the nozzle. the extrusion happens pls help. hope m not taking too much of ur time thanks again
  6. guys thanks for responding to my query , can u pls tell me a bit about the lever at the feeder. unfortunately i couldnt find any content online about how to adjust it. hope ur talking about this component (in the pic) its clearly evident tht the motot is jammed, any its not allowing the filament to move in or out. so,, does it mean tat theres no other way apart from dismantling this component and fixing it. ya,nicolinux , m in touch with the dealer here who say they will be in touch in a couple of days. posted this query as i couldnt wait
  7. hi received my ulti 2+ two weeks back , found that the supplied filament was kind of corroded a bit at certain points throughout the spool. discovered this after i printed a little. now the feeder motor seems to be jammed, the filament doesnt extrude neither does it respond when i try "move filament " or "insert Filament". can hear the motor trying to rotate, butt here is no real rotation happening as the screw seems stationery. tried to remove the bowden tube but that seems jammed too at the feeder's end pls help ! wondering how ulti could ship out such filament. regards/Harish
