Hi, I've been struggling with the black screen issue too and have no response or solution to that. I've tried to run Cura 15.04.5 and 15.04.6 with no success. I read in other forums that the problem might be the GPU, but the funny thing is that Cura runs with no problem in another one with same specs. I have an Asus TP500L i7 with 8gb of ram and Nvidia GeForce 940m. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks

Hi, Did you figure out how to solve this black screen when starting CURA? I'm having the same problem. I've tried to install previous versions of the software and configure CURA with graphics processor but nothing seems to work. An advice would be appreciated. system info: Windows 10 64 bit Intel core i7-5500U CPU @2.4GHz 8 GB RAM Intel HD Graphics 5500 GPU NVIDIA GEFORCE 940m
