What is the best way to clean a nozzle. I am not talking about a "clogged" nozzle but a nozzle that has a bunch of melted PLA around the top. Do you use soap and water? Other chemicals? Do I need to heat it up first before cleaning? Any advice would help! thanks

Quick question... Is there a way to keep settings that were adjusted in the advance menu? Example; I changed the material that requires a different setting for the nozzle and heating bed. Going forward - will I have to manually set these EVERY time I print? I looked everywhere to see if I can adjust or make the setting default but can not find anything. Am I missing something? The ultimaker 2+ comes with a 0.75 kg spool of Ultimaker Silver PLA. Will it support a 1.75mm spool?
