  1. hi - Mac OS Sierra 10.12.6. I can open cura fine, but when I open a file, it takes ages, if ever, to load. I have deleted and reloaded the software. I'm thinking I will just download an earlier version as I have never had this issue before and am two months behind on a print now, which is causing issues... I've restored the computer. cura 'helpdesk' take two weeks sometimes to respond, usually with a patronising screen shot of how to download the software.
  2. Hello everyone, I've been using Cura for a couple of years now, but the last six months the upgrades have messed up and I can't reliably use it anymore. This is causing massive issues with my productivity. Every time I contact 'support', they spend two weeks messing about and then tell me to use an earlier version, which is kind of an ok temporary solution, but does not solve the fact that I cannot use or open the current versions. Is there any other software I could use as easily? Are any of you having similar trouble? I have a Mac, and it's the same on both devices I have. Cheers Andrew
  3. Any ideas why, when I'm tweaking a model in Cura ready to save and print, it floats about, disappears altogether, and generally misbehaves? Never had this problem in previous versions, and it is quite tiresome as it can take two hours to repeatedly load and reload cura in the hope of getting it eventually ready for printing..
  4. Hi there, I'm a total novice, but love my new Ultimaker 2+. I have designed an object that is made up of 18 separate parts, and they need to be printed in direct and precise relationship to one another as they slot in and support each other. I designed in ZBrush, and exported as OBJ file, saving every part separately at a tool, once I'd sized them all together in a ZPR file in ZBrush. Now, I can load each file separately in to Cura, but they appear different sizes, and the first time I printed multiple objects from the platform, this turned in to a spaghetti junction situation, so I'm going for printing off separate objects. I'm wondering what is the best way to get the individual OBJ files sized to the right output size? Do I have to size manually? This will be rather difficult as there are internal ball jointed sockets, which are the things I need to size... Any help or advice will be graciously appreciated! Andrew
