  1. Right now I'm stuck using MatterControl, because I don't have a printer with bed level sensors, and MatterControl offers "software bed leveling" - where I choose a pattern (grid or 7-point disk), then it walks me through each point, I manually control the printer head using up/down buttons in the app (move up, move down, ok now do it in more refined steps), and it saves a software mesh that represents the warps in my bed. Then when I print, it adjusts the G-code to have a good first layer. It is actually a really nice solution! Is there anything like that for Cura? I've seen plenty of solutions where it says "I've moved to the first of four points, please raise/lower your bed through turning the screws", but nothing where you raise/lower the print head through the software and it "deals with it". Printer: Rostock Max V2, a delta with VERY difficult to adjust bed leveling screws (because I built it wrong), and even if I was able to adjust the screws, I've still got a slightly warped build plate.
  2. tl/dr: Is there a way to use Software Leveling with Cura 3.x on a non-Ultimaker printer? I love Cura, it is great software, thank you! I have a Rostock Max v2 (delta), and was able to import a profile for it. Now I'd like to use Software Bed Leveling to get a great print on the delta, and I'm not seeing it where I thought it would be from reading these forums (Settings > Printer > Manage Printer) Is there a workaround to use it? Screw-turning based leveling is... not great.
  3. +1 to this question: I didn't see any Rostock models in the preset lists of printers, and the "Add new printer wizard" suggestion maybe was for an older cura version? I'm happy to import a config file of Rostock Max v2 settings if that is possible, and if someone has one. Cura 2.1.2 OSX
