  1. I think I figured it out, the temp. sensor's connector causing the problem. I checked the sensor with a multimeter, the connections and the resistance is OK but the socket it is connecting to motherboard was not that good. I changed it. Now it is working as it should be. Thank you again for your time :)
  2. Thank you very much for the reply. I will check the cables, there is not much to do otherwise I guess.
  3. Hi friends, I searched the forum and the net but could not find a solution. My fan works normal. When I start printing everything goes right, fan working well. But after awhile fan stops and because of that the filament not getting cooled and when the extruder push the filament it gets thicker in the nozzle and can not get out properly, so less and less filament getting thru the nozzle. After awhile it stops completely and printer just continue to work w/o filament. When the printer finishes and starts to cool down the fan starts to work again after some temperature I guess. Is there a temperature settings to tell the fan to work or is there any other problem? Thanks.
  4. Thank you very much. Swap Y-Axis with E2-Axis
  5. This is exactly what I think but I can not find anything.
  6. I try that, it is not about the motors, something is wrong with the board.
  7. Hi everyone. I am building my first 3D printer. I assembled everything. But when I turn the printer on, the stepper motor connected to the Y-axis is not turning, it steps forwards and backwards and makes strange movements (as if it vibrates). All other steppers turns smoothly. I replaced the steppers so the problem is not the motors. Something is wrong with the Y-axis driver on the main board. (I order the board from China since the genuine one is 3-4 times more expensive in my country.) I am not familiar with the stepper drivers or arduino so my question is this, is there something wrong with the driver (a4988) or something wrong with the software or other electronic (resistors or something.)? Has anyone experienced that behavior before? Thank you in advance.
  8. Hi Neptuna ! UM2 panels DXF files from Autocad 2013 direct dowload here : http://www.casimages.com/fd/8BGycJS97HQew8r http://www.casimages.com/fd/FTAET9i4lUP6mjY http://www.casimages.com/fd/egnmumQKhHbyLEq http://www.casimages.com/fd/7mgMMpUHCNHfsSK http://www.casimages.com/fd/TQ5i0qal5LHFrRJ Thank you very much.
  9. Thank you guys. I think I am going to buy the frame What do you think about the wood frames on aliexpress?
  10. Thank you but I could not manage it to work on my mac, I tried Freecad but that one did not save files in .dxf format now I am going to try Onshape.
  11. I consider that also but people say UM2 is better than UM2 extended. What do you think about that?
  12. Hi guys, I am new to ultimaker community and also to 3D printing. I am planning to build UM as my first 3D printer. I first look at UMO+ then I decided to build UM2. I order the materials and in the meantime I was planning to build the frame but I could not find the .dxf files. I have been searching for them for almost 3-weeks but no luck. There are step files in GitHub but I cannot convert them, I tried Freecad but again no luck. I found the .dxf files for UMO+ and UM2 extended but I could not find for UM2. So what I am asking is, if anyone has dxf files could share it. I am planning to build it with aluminum and plexiglass using CNC. Thank you for your help in advance.
