GN1000

I have just purchased my UM2+. I notice that the Filament holder positions the roll about 1 inch away from the rear of the machine. This results in the filament being pulled at a slight angle across the roll. Is this right? I was worried this could lead to tangling of the filament and when looked at photos and videos on the web othe UM2's seem to position the roll closer to the back where (preumably) the pull is straight from the roll. Should I be concerned?
