Some things I've eliminated: - antivirus lets the program run - python is installed and runs - administrator privilege is not needed to run it In the text files in the cura directory, the "cura" text file has a batch of stuff it adds each time I fire it up, and the last line is always "backend connected on port 49674". The changelog panel background takes some time to fill in solid white before the windows error message popup happens.
  2. I just installed Cura 2.1.3 for 64 bit Windows in a Windows 7 Home Premium machine. Install proceeded nicely, but immediately after the changelog panel comes up, but before any text is put into that panel, I get a Windows popup that says "The application has stopped working". Happens reliably, every time. Is there a problem with 64 bit Cura and Windows 7 or have I built in a forehead slapper for myself?
