  1. Hi, Thank you all. After cleaning again + bed leveling for the 10th time it manage to finish the second layer but some crap keeps building up during the print and make a mess that ends to clog the nozzle. It's like there is no more retraction. Is that what you mean Nicolinux?
  2. Hi, the cura layer view is fine. The thing is I use the same settings as always and it was fine. Also I print quite slow anyway.
  3. Just the same PLA I've been using for month with the same setting with no issues at all.
  4. Hi, thanks for the answer. Everything seems fine with the fans and I have the same settings as always. Printed hundred of pieces with no issues. Underextrusion should be there at the start of the print also right? Everything goes wrong as soon as the second layer starts. Like the nozzle is not calibrated anymore.
  5. Hello, My Ultimaker 2+ was working flawlessly for months. I let it rest a couple of weeks while I was waiting for my new filament roll and now everything is wrong. As you can see, the first layer is perfect but the second one is a disaster. I put a new nozzle, cleaned everything and it's the same. Any idea?
  6. Hello everyone, I change the teflon coupler of my Ultimaker2+ with the one by 3DSolex because I couldn't finish even the first layer without clogging and now it works like a charm. But now some weird burn marks appears from time to time and I've never seen that. I use the same setting as usual with PLA and tried to reduce the temperature from 210° to 200° with no effect. Also I have layer issues with some not bonding so well but not all of them. As you can see in the picture the bottom layers are not so clean but the top layers are fine. It's a 0.3 layer height print with a 0.4 nozzle. Any of you knows about these issues? Especially the burn marks which are just weird.
  7. I use to love my Ultimaker 2+ but now I have somewhat mixed feelings... I just cannot complete a print anymore because the damn nozzle keeps clogging before finishing the first layer. As you can see on the picture the bed leveling seems fine so I really don't get it.
  8. Thank you so much for your answer. I will try your 90° solution it seems very plausible.
  9. Hello, Overall my printer is working fine but I have trouble with long flat parts. As you can see on the picture everything is fine until, well, it is not. The nozzle is clean and the problem only occurs with these parts. Is there some trick?
  10. Hello everyone, I am trying to print this part : Apparently it's not a complicated print and it should go fine without supports but the result is crappy. I lowered the speed, the temperature, but nothing is working. Any ideas to get the best result? Thanks in advance.
  11. Hello, I have real troubles with the supports. I followed the same configurations that I saw on the forum with people who don't seem to have such problem. As you can see the parts that are actually supported are just impossible to clean. The supports makes one with the print. What am I doing wrong? Does the brand of the filament makes a difference? I am currently using the Innofil3D PLA because I find it easy to print with and it looks real good. Thanks in advance for you suggestions.
  12. Thanks again. I'm wondering if my 0.4 nozzle doesn't require a major cleaning more efficient than atomic method. It keeps jamming after a while. I am trying the same problematic print with my never used 0.6 and it seems to work fine.
  13. Wow OK many thanks for your answer, I will check everything. The thing is at one point everything was fine with the Silver PLA from Ultimaker. I just made a test print with the Ultimaker Robot provided with the SD card and it went well. It's just with this long flat print that there is a problem. Could the nozzle be a tiny bit too close to the glass plate? Anyway thank you for the help.
  14. The spool is almost full, bought it a few days ago. I had the same problem the last time with the one delivered with the printer. It works great for a time and at one point something goes wrong and it's a nightmare. I use the auto parameter of the printer, do you use the same?
  15. Hello everyone, I have my Ultimaker 2+ for a few months now and overall I cannot be happier about it. But lately I have a big trouble to finish a print and it starts to be very annoying. As you can see on the photo the nozzle keeps getting jammed. I have to mention that this problem only happened with the Ultimaker silver PLA! With any other brand it goes smoothly with close to none issues. I'm a bit surprise that the only filament right now which gives me trouble is the brand that produce my printer! So after applying the atomic method for the hundred time I'm asking for your help.
  16. Thank you neotko, I think you are right. The spool holder of the Ultimaker put an unnecessary pressure to the filament and the steelfill is already very fragile. Thanks again.
  17. Hello everyone, my Terminator T800 head failed after 20 hours which is not cool. Apparently the Colorfabb steelfill filament snapped before the feeder. Is there something to do to prevent this to happen again? Thanks
