  1. I've got a working configuration now for the Reach 3D and Cura Software. I've tested it printing via OctoPrint, and the results are as I'd expect. The Reach 3D uses a stock Marlin firmware, so it's easy to add to Cura Software. In the "Add New Printer" machine settings dialogue, set the following options: Maximum width (mm): 180 Maximum depth (mm): 180 Maximum height (mm): 150 Heated bed: yes (if you have that option) Build area shape: Square GCode Flavour: RepRap (Marlin/Sprinter) If you've installed the E3D extruder (quite a popular option with Reach 3D owners), you'll probably want to knock the Maximum width setting down to around 170 mm. This depends on how much you had to shift the print bed to accommodate the shorter E3D extruder. A basic draft-quality PLA ini file for Cura Software is here: R3D-Generic_PLA_for_Cura_or_OctoPrint.ini This can also be imported into OctoPrint for use with its CuraEngine installation. All these settings were determined empirically, and have only been tested with Cura Software and CuraEngine 15.04 under Linux. Use at your own risk.
  2. I've just built a Reach 3D printer kit. It comes with curaengine filament and printer configuration files for use with Repetier Host. I'm not too familiar with Repetier, but have used Cura Software for a long time with a Printrbot, and I really like how the software works. Is there a way to import these configs into Cura Software, please? The Reach 3D is a fairly standard Marlin-based open design. The config files are here: http://bit.do/reach3dprinter in the kickstarter reach 3d printer/cura config/Cura Settings Best folder. Any assistance greatly appreciated, thanks.
