  1. looks like it was actually the new .8mm core I installed. I changed back to the .4mm core and it is printing fine. Now I just don't know why it won't print with the new core
  2. Hi, I updated to cura 2.7 from 2.6 and now when I start a print, it only heats ups the build plate and hotend, then immediately says print finished. Tried going back to 2.6 and now it is doing the same thing there. I can see as it is heating up that there is no estimated print time, only job name and printing time of 00:00:00
  3. I'm having trouble starting any print after upgrading to cura 2.4 it sends the file to the printer and starts heating up but after a couple of minutes it just says print done please remove print even though it didn't even start printing. I tried this with a file i could previously print in 2.3. any ideas?
  4. I've had menu problems as well. Another thing is that there's only a few options for the materials when using non tagged spools so I have to choose one close to the one I'm using then change it manually in cura. This is more of a problem when I'm changing filament to a higher temp one than the ones in the menu
  5. Has someone tried printing flexible material on the UM3, I've been trying to print ninjaflex, but it keeps tangling up between the extruder gear and the tube. I'm printing at 230 c with retraction disabled at 25mm/s. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
  6. try a little hotter(260-265) and maybe taller layer height
  7. I know polymaker PC recommends baking it for an hour at 100 degrees for extra strength, but I think the temperature resistance should be the same without it
  8. I have not tried nylon 680, but I've tried all the other taulman nylons and I have good results with glass bed at 65 degrees with a couple of layers of gluestick. I also tried with garolite, but that actually had way too much adhesion it was almost impossible to remove the prints. Another nice solution was wolfbite nitro although that's not that cheap
  9. ahhh well that's good to know. Didn't know my bed was that uneven haha. I'll play around with that and see if it does go away thanks.
  10. here is a video, I think you can hear it. I've gone around the printer many times, but I can't see where it's coming from and it is not the spool holder. there are 2 cores installed, but only using core 1.
  11. Hi, I just got my ultimaker 3 extended and have done a few test prints that came out great, but there's a slight knocking sound that seems to happen at intervals coming from inside the back wall that I can't quite pinpoint. Is this a normal sound or could something be loose back there that I should worry about? Thanks
