  1. I'm a newbie at all this, but one thing I've noticed is 2.x provides access to and control over a much wider array of configuration settings.
  2. I started off back in December with Cura v15 but have recently switched to v2.3. I'm noticing that supports on prints sliced with v2.3 are bonded much more tightly to the main body of the piece than prints sliced with v15, using the same basic print settings. I still find myself having to scrape and razor knife the supports from v2.3 that used to just come off mostly by hand from v15. I've looked at expert settings in v15 (structure type, overhang angle, fill amount, distance x/y, and distance z) and copied those settings to v2.3, and today I printed the same item from both slicers. The difference really is noticeable. As you can see in the picture, the v15 supports are less substantial and are pulled farther away from the main piece, even though the settings (that I know of, from v15) are the same. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong, maybe a setting I'm missing or something? Thanks!
