Hi,
one of the cable of my Hot-End cooling fan broke and possibly caused a short circuit.
I replaced the Hot-End cooling fan by a new one.
When I start my UM2 the display works normally, and I'm able to heatup the nozzle (and the Hot-End cooling fan is also working again).
But no motors are working. I'm not able to "Move Material", lower/raise the building plate or home the head. (All tested in the Maintenance menu of the printer).
The error's displayed vary between "Z switch stuck" and "X or Y Switch broken".
I already checked the standard things of those errors:
- checked that nothing is blocking the switches (e.g. stuck filament).
- checked that the switches still click when activating them.
- checked the connections at the mainboard (actually unplugged and plugged all connections).
I checked the safety jumpers (J16 & J17). When I unplug them there is eighter a specific error message displayed, or the display doesn't light up at all. So them seem to work both.
In another thread I read that possibly the relay K1 (24V?), could be broken. But in that case heating up the nozzle should also not work, correct?
Anyone knows what could be the issue or how to narrow it further down?
