  1. I think is time to speak about AA cores for hard materials (abrasive ones)
  2. What is the real resolution improvement S5 versus UM3 ?
  3. From what i see it will use the entire build plate no matter what combination of nozzle and material you choose ? (i did recommended that)
  4. Poly lactic acid (PLLA) Policaprolacton (PCL) Can be used with Ultimaker 3 ? And if so, what profile should be chosen ?
  5. I have forget , somehow a little bit longer axle so the print head could use all the build plate , no matter if one AA core , or core AA + BB is used . (blind zones in Cura preview).
  6. Ultimaker PC filament (black - white) with only 60 degree bed ?
  7. No problem. I'l override.
  8. I think is necessary to put in firmware the same tipe of materials that are in Cura. It is about Ultimaker filaments. UM3 see PC (generic) because polycarbonate white has no NFC, but in Cura i can select Ultimaker PC white. For that reason it is stupid always to go to that page "Print jobs" and press override.
  9. 0.5 plugin. (downloaded) Yes macro. A way to detect if Cura is already open.
  10. Cura 3.2.1 Solidworks plugin 0.5 Everything ok. BUT.... if Cura is open, export to cura open another instance of CURA software, Maybe if he detect that Cura is already open....
  11. a simple question. Solidworks export to stl. Why should i use the plugin ?
  12. AA core 0.25 for 1.75 is different design that one for 2.85
  13. I wonder if 1.75mm filament AA core 0.25 and a bowden tube for it could be an intermediate upgrade ?
  14. Layer view is perfect to see what will be printed and what is not. For a locomotive cabin for example i had to rotate 45 degree left-wright and then another 45 degree front- back to print small details. the cabin look like a balerina in preview. Maybe that help. Load the stl and play with rotate. LDH_1250_H0_Cabina_Walls.stl
  15. For those who want a challenge. ( H0 scale 1:87 ) tampon vers 2.STL
  16. This is the prototype. The final version will be in polycarbonate. All big parts, they are 7, AA 0.4 nozzle default 0.1 profile. Gasket from TPU95 for windows, and now tiny details AA 0.25 nozzle default profile.
  17. redesigned the model and printed in 2 pieces default profile. for now is the only way
  18. As good thing, same version 1:32 scale 1 (G) made in two pieces.
  19. test failed. 0.03 is too much. 90 flow, 185 temp.
  20. Previous atempt. As scale a match stick
  21. AA 0.25 nozzle, 0.03 layer. H0 scale (1:87) locomotive buffers. After the bath i will post the result.
  22. The best way to see is to do a test design. A plate with different holes and extruded forms with exact dimensions like ex. 1mm, 0.5mm etc,and print it. Then make measurements.
