  1. I´m usually very careful when removing a spool. I´m always making sure that the coil stays tight and use clips so it can´t unwind while stored. Also, the white spool u r seeing on the foto made a 20hours print before, wasn´t removed and remained untouched until I started a new 11hour print today, which failed after about 5 hours. It´s even funnier that this cheap ass white PLA runs more smooth than the colorfabb one. On my 32hours print with colorfabb I had to jump up every 30minutes cause I was hearing it getting stuck. Sometimes the motors had enough force to unstuck it on their own, but at some point it failed. here´s a photo of the colorfabb spool. at least optically everything seems fine to me
  2. Hey guys. Lately my prints are failing due to this annoying error and I cant figure out what causes it. Since it didnt happen before Cura 2.6.1 the only guess I can make its anything software sided. I know, it sounds weird that an error like that has something to do with a slicer, but I´m thinking of any retraction settings that changed or something like that. Something that makes the spool lose its tension for a second and cause this "knot" This error not only occurs on this cheap ass PLA, it also happens on my expensive ones like colorfabb, which u probably know is perfectly coiled up on spool. From the last 4 prints (between 11h and 32h printtime), 3 failed cause of this error. Has anyone of you guys an idea on how to solve this problem?
  3. Hey guys, I´m currently working my way through Cura using an UM3 Ext (coming from S3D) and got a problem with getting sharp corners. My corners look something like this (a little bit exagerated): So, I guess the error is caused because of not changing printspeed and/or flow when doing edges, but how can I change that? I know that this is probably a very common error, but I really didn´t know how I should call that thing...so I didn´t find anything with the search function Thx
  4. How do you print the support interface with a different material than the rest of the support? edit: Just recognised, you were probably not talking bout cura. nvm.
  5. I think I found the cause myself. Seems that its just a to high layerthickness for that kind of print and a 0,4mm nozzle (will try again with the 0,8mm once I got the solex core) It seems like the layers are warping inwards and cause of this the following layers are printed without contact to the previous one --> I´m just pulling strings that way. I made a testprint with 1 layer of wallthickness were after already about 3cm height the nozzle was about 5mm shifted from the previous layer. Lowering the thickness from 0,3mm to 0,2mm solved that.
  6. Hey guys, I recently got my Ultimaker 3 Extended and already printed some things successfully but I´m still tweaking settings. The last print was a 29cm high Vase with 0,4mm nozzle, 0,3mm layer height, 70mm/s printspeed, outerwall speed 35, inner 50mm/s at 205°C with Colorfabb pale gold in Cura 2.4. There were 5 layers of wallthickness. I´m got 1 year of experience with 3d printing cause of my FFCP, but havn´t seen errors like this before. As you can see in the pictures below, the layers delaminated completly from the lower ones. This behavior startet at about 12cm height, and ended on 21cm and only occured on that corner (it pointed towards the back of the UM3). The Inside of the vase is even more chaotic. The layers are just "strings" and not connected at all. Besides the file obviously having some errors (see that "scar" right besides the delamination? Seems thats the start and ending point of the layers. In Simplify3D those are not even connected and shown as a 1-2mm gap) it seems for me that towards the end of the layer the printer does something to the filament flow or anything like that - As I´m not really used to Cura I can´t really tell what setting could cause this error. Does anyone of you guys have a clue how to solve this?
The printer is not connected. If you´re not seeing the Ultimaker 3 you´re looking for, ensure this device and printer are connected to the same network, then try again. Verbinden will ich dabei von einem Samsung Galaxy S6. Hat eventuell jemand von Euch ne Ahnung was hier falsch laufen könnte?
