Hey everyone, just a warning for everyone on this. This just happened to me. I followed the instructions linked here but even after applying a heat gun to my caked PLA - I still severed the wires going to the hot end. My caked on PLA was really thick and even after setting the hot end to 260 C it still would not come off. I gently tried to message the PLA off with the assistance of the heat gun but severed the wires going to the hot end. Does Ultimaker sell new print heads or hot ends? Any way to reconnect them?
