  2. Hello, I messed around with the settings for quite a while now and tried to find a solution for my problem but was not able to. My top and bottom layers turn out good with one problem. When there is a hole in the model that goes all the way through (or penetrates the top/bottom layer) the walls are printed first and it travels from the outer wall to the wall of the hole without retraction. This causes problems on the bottom layer as seen here: The picture show the bottom of the bottom layer and due to no retraction, the surface lays on a thin string. On the top layer i get similar issues because there is no retraction move, there is also no z-hopping causing the nozzle to slide across the surface and leaving a visible mark. It's worth to mention that if the nozzle travels on an air gab (between two pillars for example) it does actually retract and i get no stringing what so ever. Thanks in advance for your help.
