Hi guys, I am using the Ultimaker 2+ and the slicer CURA V3.0. Although my 3d model is a 100% connected part CURA obviously sliced it into small pieces so that the printer does not print the first layer as a connected part. I do not want to use a brim. Does anybody knows how CURA prepares the first layer code? Nice greetings Sascha

Thank you. And all those parts around the hotend resist the temperature of 180 degrees? (ventilator, wires etc). With the hot gun it is difficult to focuse on a particular area.

Hi there, I‘ve purchased recently a new Ultimaker 2+ and tried to print a big part over night. Next morning my nozzle and the entire hotend was clogged by filament. It seamed that the part lost its adhesion to the print bed and then the filament was collected at the nozzle until it was clogged. Do you have any idea how to unleash the hotend espacially the wires from the filament? Every response is highly appreciated. Thx. Sascha
