  1. Hi, Pretty much as the title says- see image attached for error. Appears on all machines 2x S5 and UM3 + UM3E. I have tried completely uninstalling Cura (including config files in folder) and re-installing but error persists. Currently using Cura 4.10 Any ideas?
  2. My bad, I must have picked up the wrong stick when I was running through all the machines in farm. Just seen the notice that UM3 is in maintenance mode.
  3. I've no idea why the images have uploaded upside-down... I did flip them and re-upload but they're still the wrong way up unfortunately
  4. Hi, My UM3 and UM3E have not been able to update firmware via network for a while. When I tried to update via a memory stick and upon rebooting both printers froze with vertical lines on the screen. I restarted both printers, the UM3 had updated and now updates via the network. But the UM3E still remains at its previous version and even after a midway update to 5.2.17.20 I still cant update to 6.2.2 as it comes up with the vertical lines again. Any ideas?
  5. Hi, Each time I start Cura I get the first time set up screen, and that error behind, which I cant access until I've finished the set up. Then I click to reset- which reboots Cura which then needs first set up but no error. The next time I start Cura the process repeats itself. I'm on the latest version, and it has continued happening after the update. (UM3, UM3E and S5) Thanks,
  6. Hi @Vladimirescu It seems to have fixed it for us, at least for the time being.
  7. I have also been experiencing this issue, when CC was first set up it worked great (Except for having to remember to set the right colour of materials etc) but now I can only get one machine to work via the network, and the other wont appear when you try to add it. Mine are connected via network cables. Also in cura on the drop down options on the print button (save to disk, save to file, print over network) I get two "print over network" options... only one of which works with only one of the printers.
  8. Hi, Is it possible to view a list of historic print jobs with print times from Cura-connect? E.g what was printed during the last 10 days or last 20 print jobs? Thanks,
  9. Hi, When print jobs are sent to printers Via Cura-Connect the printer will auto-level and then start the print. However if the error: height difference exceeds realistic values, appears the printer will wait for you to confirm. With a normal print you would just restart the print after removing any debris from the nozzle, or just start it again and it will normally work. With Cura-connect you hit confirm, and then it attempts to re-start the print, it says auto level on the screen but instead goes straight to starting the print without performing the level check? Is this normal, or intended behavior? Thanks,
  10. Hi, Is it possible to set a password to protect accessing the printers over the network? We've just recently connected ours to the network to allow remote monitoring, but I don't want anybody on site being able to connect and potentially print/watch prints. Thanks,
  11. Hi Mate, Apologies I meant are you VAT registered? i.e can I claim the VAT back off this if I bought it? Thanks,
  12. Hi Mate, I'm quite local to you, does that price include VAT?
  13. I just tried to print and the printer leveled itself but before trying to print gave an error: I2C communication Error?
  14. USB,.. that might be the case, and if it is it will be a big relief. I shall try it again and with it being ejected etc and see how it goes. Thanks for the help
  15. Apologies for not being clear, it is the same printer I tried a different g-code file for a new print. I have just tried to load the gcode file in Cura and it fails to load above 95%. File attached. Should be the latest firmware and Cura version UM3E_bush 2.gcode
  16. Please find the Log files attached. For some reason after I dumped them to USB they have a .log.gz format. I have had to rename to remove the .gz to be able to upload them here. ultimakersystem-ccbdd3001df2.4.2.5.20180102.boot0.log ultimakersystem-ccbdd3001df2.4.2.5.20180102.boot-1.log ultimakersystem-ccbdd3001df2.4.2.5.20180102.boot-2.log ultimakersystem-ccbdd3001df2.4.2.5.20180102.boot-3.log ultimakersystem-ccbdd3001df2.4.2.5.20180102.boot-4.log
  17. Hi, Earlier one of our printers just stopped printing, with no error message. I have just run a different print on it and it has done the same thing. With a few minutes left it has stopped moving, but the timer has continued to count down to 0. Where it just stops at 0 time remaining. The print head lights are on yellow, but the controls are unresponsive on the front. The display says the heads are still at working temperature, but even the frame light brightness does not change when you vary the %. Any ideas?? I cant afford to have an unreliable printer, and we're trying to justify a 3rd currently.
  18. I have used a small 12V pump that just circulated the water, and manually kept it with warm water circulating. It does make some difference, but not as great as I'd hoped. The main issue is parts floating, or air pockets as these areas never dissolve, or else parts going gooey and sticking to the walls or lid. Also parts like to end up in the dead areas out of the main flow, and once thats the case the dissolving isn't much faster than normal still water. The pump getting clogged hasn't been an issue, although I did wonder before. The suction from a pump isn't massive, I put the intake nearly on the bottom so theres not space for a large clump to be pulled through. You could always put a basic filter on the end, fish pond pumps must have this? Now I am just resigned to removing as much as possible by hand, and then leave overnight in water. Else im testing the new breakaway material, which can be more suitable in a lot of cases.
  19. Hi, How well did it work printing at the different smaller layer heights? Did you have any issues? Thanks,
  20. How large is the gap after the rapid? I don't believe there is an easy way to test the capacative sensor, if it is a new machine and has never performed this auto calibration correctly I would contact your re-seller and ask for a machine swap.
  21. Hi, This is a similar issue I've experienced before. The heads don't have separate sensors. The way the leveling works is that the capacitive sensor is used to detect the glass bed, however the software only detects when the capacative reading stops changing. (i.e when the bed contacts the nozzles the sensor reading stops changing and it knows it is in contact) How ever if the bed screws are wound right out the bed is very high off of the aluminium plate then the nozzles will contact the glass before the system starts to look at the measurements and it continues to push into the glass. The simple solution, wind the bed down a few turns on all of the bed leveling screws and try again. The nozzles should not be touching the glass when the bed has rapid-ed up, and before the bed is moved slowly up to touch the nozzles. If the issue continues you may have a defective sensor, which I have heard of before. Also check there is no debris on your nozzles or glass bed.

  23. Hi, I was waiting for an urgent print to finish this morning, its been printing for the last few days. With about an hour to go however, it suddenly threw this error message and has stopped the print, and ideas why this has happened??
  24. Hi, I have contacted them, waiting on a response from them. It was an Ultimaker spool and it was a 350g one. I have just discovered that we actually have two in this condition. Thanks,
  25. Hi Guys, I've been wondering for a while now why once the bed calibration has been completed, the head moves to the front, the bed drops and heats up. Then the bed rises and the head moves to a point half way back on the right hand side, once the bed has stopped the head rapids to the front left side to do its initial purge. Often however during the rapid to the front left a trail of plastic can be left across the bed or a blob if some has leaked from the print-core while hot for calibration. Anybody know why this is? Thanks,
