I own an Ultimaker 2+ and i use it for prototyping. It has never given me a problem in over a couple months now!
I had a job to print, i made the file on cura and decided to print by connecting my printer via USB, for the first time ever. Once i did that i noticed an option in add printer where you can update firmware.
After clicking for an automatic firmware update, the printer shut down completely. The update window always shows that it'll take time but i doubt it should take 4+ hours! Ive tried downloading firmware 5 times now and all the times its taken more than 4 hours with out any progress
-So i restarted cura and it wont even show me the printer as connected...
-I reinstalled cura and it kept crashing...
-I degraded cura version and its working now but same exact issue as before.
In dire need for help on what to do???
EXTRA INFORMATION:
1) power supply is working fine
2) when i connect printer usb with computer, my computer does connect and recognize usb connection however the printer does not power on at all nor does cura sense printer connection.
