I've removed the z-axis attached to the z-motor, but it appears that the other two rods are very firmly attached to the black covers on the bottom of the UM2+. Does anyone have experience removing those covers to slide out the rods? Thanks!

I know the Z-Unlimited's purchase options only include the Ultimaker and Ultimaker 2. I thought it might be worthwhile to ask around to see if anyone's successfully configured the Z-Unlimited for the Ultimaker 3.
