  1. So I took off the feeder on my UM3 to clean the feeder out. When I was putting the feeder back in I must not of had the screw straight in because the little brass part that the screw goes into pushed out and fell into the machine behind the white plastic part that protects the feeder motor. I was able to remove the little brass insert piece, but I can't figure out how I could put it back in. It looks like I would have to remove the white plastic part that protects the motor, but there aren't any screws to remove it with (there are several videos that show how to remove it on the UM2, but not the UM3). On the picture the red circle is the hole that the brass thing is missing from (it is installed from the back). The green is the bottom one that still has the brass part in it. Any suggestions on what I can do?
  2. Hello, I'm pretty new to the world of 3d printing but I had a question about the print cores. Should I only be printing PVA in the BB print core? What could happen if I put PLA into the BB print core? If I'm printing two different colors in PLA, do I need to pick up an additional AA print core / is it better to pick up an additional print core? Is there somewhere online which explains the best use / differences in the print cores? Thanks Brian
  3. One of the 3d printing groups I am on posted this link. Essentially it only uses PVA in the layer or two between the supports, with the majority of the supports in the regular material. Is it possible to do this with Cura? https://www.prusaprinters.org/printing-soluble-interface-supports-prusa-i3-mk2-multi-material/
  4. Hello, the issue went away this AM when I tried to print again. I'm not sure what happened, but it is working now. Is there a way to remove the topic?
  5. Hello, I am having an issue with my Ultimaker 3. When I load the filament initially it heads up and the filament comes out without any issues. But when I start a print job extruder #1 never heats up to more than 100ish degrees (and thus no filament comes out). Any ideas what is happening here?
  6. Hello, I was having similar issues and found the solution in this post/ thread: I know you have probably figured it out by now, but this was the first thread that I found trying to find a solution and wanted to direct people to an answer.
