  1. Lol - whoops! I meant.. you know... but thanks for pointing me to this feature, I will take a look.
  2. "Ribs" would be a useful infill option. These would be similar to the ribs in a boat. "Baffles" would also be useful for enhancing strength. These would be similar to the square fill pattern except print thick baffles on every 10th wall. User input of where the ribs or baffles should go would be the next step. A user will often know where the strength is needed in a part. Cura does not know, so it should be left to the user. I am very surprised that in (edit)2023 version 5... we still have basic repetitive patterns that don't react to the surface or provide any user control over where we want increased part strength.
  3. I still don't understand. What is meant by "the measurements are taken from the nozzle and is the distance to the farthest point of the entire print head"?
  4. Thanks for that Yeah, that makes sense. This is an STL and I am unable to re-generate it because it's not my design. I changed the Z position (top left corner of screen if anyone else is having the same issue) and it worked a treat! I did not know about this! That's why we come to the forums! Great help! Thank you.
  5. I am printing a model and have tried selecting both brim and raft. Strangely, neither the brim or raft are forming as the should (normally there would be one which goes around the model). Instead there are many mini rafts or brims randomly located around the edges of the model. I have a screenshot, but sadly there is no way to insert it. Does anyone know why lots of little random mini rafts or brims are forming instead of just one? Thanks for your help
