  1. I've noticed this, too (Lulzbot Taz 4). Printing thin strips 110 x 3mm with cylindrical "bolt heads" which should be 0.8mm high for the strip, and 0.7 for the "bolt heads". There are no sloping verticals. With 0.25mm 1st layer, and 0.12mm other layers, slicing with Adaptive Layers ON, only has 6 layers - 3 + 3. and is only 1.2mm high (the strip itself is only 0.54mm thick. The layer height doesn't seem to have been varied, there are just less of them Without Adaptive Layers, there are 10 layers, 6 + 4, and the print is just over 1.4mm high. I've just been back to Cura 4.0 and replicated the print settings - it does exactly the same. My understanding was that when Adaptive Layers is used, there will be thicker/thinner layers, but only if there are sloping or rounded vertical surfaces to improve their appearance, but overall dimensions (well, height) would stay the same. Doesn't seem to be the case.
  2. Just downloaded Cura 3.2 release. It's still coming up with "You have OS x 10.10.5. The application requires OS X 10.11 or later."
  3. Possibly only checking for "Stable" version? App checking for updates can be unreliable. I've done this when the developer's site (not necessarily the Cura one) says there's an update, and the App's internal check says there isn't.
  4. The App icon has the Mac "white circle/diagonal" line symbol on it and when attempting to run, the popup in the 1st screen shot appears. The App doesn't start at all. Second screenshot is the File Info with the white symbol (dates in this are Cura's own, as it was only installed yesterday). My Mac Mini is too old to upgrade beyond Yosemite.
  5. Will the stable version of Cura 3.2 run on Mac OS X 10.10.5 Yosemite? For the beta version, the computer says No.
  6. The same happened to me. I'd had 3.1 beta (Mac). Deleting its files made no difference. Copying 3.0.4 files (from Application Support) across into the Cura 3.1 "Quality" folder didn't work for Profiles either, but my printer does now show up - Lulzbot Taz 4. Rather tedious, but seemed to work, was exporting each Profile individually from 3.0.4 and importing one at a time into 3.1.
