Hallo und ein frohes druckvolles Jahr an alle. Ich danke euch für die zahlreichen Tipps und Vorschläge. Leider konnte ich den Fehler noch immer nicht lokalisieren. Deshalb habe ich jetzt mal alle Platinen neu bestellt. Gruß googol

Hallo liebe Druckergemeinde, I hoffe wirklich dass mir hier jemand einen Tipp geben kann, dieses Problem treibt mich in den Wahnsinn. Also hier die meine Geschichte. I habe einen UM 2+ und drucke schon ein paar Jahre damit ohne Probleme. Vor ein paar Tagen meinte der Drucker verrückt zu spielen. Ich wählte ein Material (XT) dass ich schon ziemlich oft verwendet habe aber als ich den Druck starten wollte schaltete der Drucker aus noch bevor er die Düsenreinigungsposition erreichte. Ich habe das ganze ein paar mal probiert aber immer das gleiche Verhalten, manchmal dauerte es ein bisschen länger und er schaffte es fast den ersten Layer zu starten. Aber Schlussendlich schaltete er zuvor immer wieder aus und wieder an und stand dann still. Also versuchte ich ein paar Dinge, unter anderen einen Werksreset aber ich habe schließlich ein neues Netzteil bestellt. Leider hatte ich auch mit dem neuen Netzteil das gleiche Verhalten. Also versuchte ich mit PLA statt mit XT zu drucken weil ich dachte dass vielleicht die Heizpatrone einen Schaden hat evtl. funktioniert es mit geringerer Temperatur.... Tatsächlich, es funktionierte mit PLA, der komplette Druck über 7 Stunden. Also wechselte ich wieder zu XT aber da ich ja einen Werksreset gemacht habe, wählte ich das schon vorinstallierte CPE Profil und stellte vor dem Druck mit der "Tune"-funktion die Betttemperatur zurück. Jetzt druckte er ca 1h aber schaltete dann wieder aus und wieder ein. Ich habe dann am Drucker ein Custom Material basierend auf CPE erstellt und verwendete dieses. Jetzt schaltete der Drucker nach dem Start des Drucks wieder schon ab bevor er die Düsenreinigungsposition erreichte. Dann habe ich die Tinker FW installiert und verwendete wieder das mitgelieferte CPE Profil. Wieder ungefähr nach einer Stunde schaltete der Drucker aus. Auch hier mit Tinker versuchte ich ein neues Materialprofil mit geänderter Betttemperatur (30 Grad statt 60) zu erstellen und mit diesem zu drucken. Und wieder erreichte der Druckkopf nicht die Reinigungsposition. Ich habe auch sehr intensiv alle Funktionialitäten manuell getestet (Düse aufgeheizt, Bett aufgeheizt, Material befördert, Druckkopf rumgefahren, alle Kabel währenddessen "vergewaltigt") aber der Drucker machte keine Anstalten auszuschalten. Danach startete ich einen Print und *bang*, wieder sofort aus. Im UltiGCode File habe ich alle meta Informationen am Anfang der Datei gelöscht (alles was mit ; begintt am Anfang der Datei). Ohne die FLAVOR Zeile, fährt das Bett nach oben und der Druckkopf fährt sofort alle Pfade ab aber ohne Filament zu fördern. Der Drucker schaltet nicht aus. Für mich scheint es irgendwie so als ob das EEprom auf dem Board kaputt ist und sobald die FW darauf zugreifen will um Materialsettings zu laden stürzt alles ab. Aber erstens klingt mir das zu weit hergeholt und zu komisch und zweitens erklärt mir das nicht warum auch mit einem vordefinierten Profil nach ca. 1h Schluss ist... und das auch nur mit CPE und nicht mit PLA. Ich bin sowas von am Ende mit meinem Latein und hoffe jemand kann mir einen Tipp geben der dann nicht is "kauf ein neues Mainboard". Gruß googol

Hi all, I really hope somebody could give me a hint, this problem is driving me nuts. So, here comes the story. I have an UM 2+ and printed for a lot of hours without any problems. A few days ago the printer starts to get crazy. I selected a Material (XT) that I used a lot before but when I started the print, the printer switched off on its way to the "nozzle purge" position. I tried it a few times and always the same, sometimes it took a little longer and it almost started the first layer. But finally it always switched off and on again and just stant still. So, I tried a few things, also a factory reset but finally I ordered a new power supply. Also with the new power supply I had the same behavior. So, I tried PLA instead of XT because I thought maybe the heater is defect and with a lower temperature it might work... Indeed, it worked with PLA, the complete print for 7h. So I switched back again to the XT but sinde I did a factory reset I selected the CPE setting and tuned the bed temperature a bit. Now it printed about 1h but again switched off and on again. I created a custom material based on CPE on the printer and selected it. Now the printer switched off again already before it got to the "nozzle purge" position. I installed Tinker FW, again I used XT with the builtin setting of CPE. After about an hour the problem occured again. Also here I created a custom Material for XT. As soon I use the custom material the printer switches off a lot earlier (before it comes to the purge position). I also extensively tested all functionalities manually (heated the nozzle, heated the bed, material feeder, moving the head, "raped" all wires and cables during the movings and so on) but it never switched off. After this I started a print and *bang*, it switched off. I tried to delete all the meta information in the UltiGCode file (the lines which begin with the ; at the beginning of the file). Without the "FLAVOR" keyword, the bed risis and the the print head immediately starts to move but without extrusion. The printer doesn't switch off. For me it somehow looks like the EEprom on the board is defect and it crashes as soon the FW wants to use the custom material settings. But first of all it sounds too strange and second why it also crashes with the built in materials but not before it printed an hour or so? I hope somebody could give me a hint that is not "buy a new board". R googol
