You were right. I changed the file association and default program and that changed the file type back. Now I can use both, thank you so much!

Hello all, I've been using slic3r for a while and decided to pick up Cura as that was what my printer was originally intended to use. However I still like slic3r but I now can no longer use it as Cura immediately changes the .obj files to cura.model.obj files. I even tried uninstalling Cura and deleting Cura folders in .appdata yet they are still changed. Any advice?
