Hi MechDesigner, Thanks for tape tip. I will certainly try it out. Today I got a print running with increased tip temperature (from 210 to 230). Also I have cleaned the base plate thoroughly. Seems that the glue trick doesnt work for us. We have the printer on a school so I suspect that the heavy use leaves a residue that hampers the sticking. Instead of cleaning with windowfluid (scary combination with electronis) I think the tape is a clever solution. I might even try to lower the temperature.

Hallo Geert_2, Dank voor je tips. Ik ben vanochtend als volgt te werk gegaan: Eerst heb ik de temperatuur van 210 omhoog gezet naar 225 en daarbij de plaat van 60 naar 55. Dit werkte 5 minuten goed. Maar toen werd het werkstuk inclusief skirt in zijn geheel opgetild. Waarschijnlijk was de "worst" nog wat stug en de hechting op de plaat onvoldoende. Mijn lijmlaag was namelijk aan de dikke kant. Deze hebben we nu weggepoetst. Ook heb ik de temperatuur van 225 naar 230 verhoogd en de plaat weer op 60. Lijkt nu weer goed te werken. De tip van zout water ga ik zeker uit proberen. Wat is de verhouding?

Hi to all, I am looking for help to solve a problem with PLA not sticking to the base plate. Instead, the extruder head pulls the material loose and a big "Spaghetti" ball is being formed on the extruder head. The problem started after having placed a new reel of blue PLA material (1616) Before we used a reel of gray PLA material (supplied with the machine) without any problems. Already we have done the following steps without improvement: * factory reset * cleaning the nozzle * checking the temperature (nozzle 210, base plate 60) * adding a layer of glue to the base plate No solutions up till now. I have this issue with blue PLA.Only it is worse! The PLA doesnt stick to the base plate at all and curls up to a large "spaghetti" ball around the extrusion head. Before we where printing with gray PLA that came with the machine without any problems. Tried to apply the glue to the base plate but no improvement. @Porsche1 : do you recommend increasing temperature from 210 to 255 and perhaps decreasing base plate temperature?

Ik heb net een nieuwe rol blauwe PLA op de Ultimaker 2+ gezet. Gelijk een probleem dat het product niet op de plaat blijft kleven. Met de vorige rol, grijs PLA geleverd met de machine, geen problemen gehad. Met het blauwe PLA blijft het product niet op de plaat kleven en ontstaat een kluwen plastic rond de kop.Zie film /foto Machine goed uitgelijnd, materiaal vloeit goed. temperatuur instelling spuitmond 210 graden plaat op 60 graden. Plaat insmeren met bijgeleverde lijmstick maakt geen verschil Wat nu te doen? Groeten, Silvio Rademaker
