We have been printing with our UM2+ for a year and a half and have loved it and had no issues. Suddenly today we have the following symptom:
After selecting the file to print, the printer begins the nozzle/bed warmup normally. Just as the indicator is showing that the nozzle is fully heated, the machine crashes and reboots as if the power were unplugged and plugged back in. It always happens at exactly the same point, at peak nozzle heatup but just before the head/bed would start moving (no vibration yet at the point it dies). A few other notes:
Printing from SD card
The power cord is securely attached (and again, the phenomenon happens before the head or bed start moving)
We are able to do other procedures which use heating and or head movement with no problem. We can go through the procedure to replace the PLA or the procedure to adjust bed height without this reboot happening.
Any help appreciated. This machine is just a very expensive brick until we can figure this out.
