I'm trying out bridging in Cura with ABS + variable layer height and it's a little problematic. I think it would be useful to add an option to increase layer height for layers with bridges if variable layer height is also enabled. Due to the shape of the object, it chooses the lowest allowed layer height (0.1mm) for the layer where the bridge is, which makes the bridge impossible to pull off.
