  1. I was under the impression that the 3mf file type stored information about color/appearance... When I create a part in Solidworks, I am aware of the fact that I can create a part with multiple bodies which I can then separate in Cura. However, I was wondering if it is possible for Cura to read in the surface color of faces as designated in Solidworks and assign a secondary extruder for those faces. To be more specific, I would like to use the compare documents function from Solidworks, which then gives me all of the different surfaces colored in red, which I would like to pass along to Cura - to print those faces in a secondary color on my UM3E. The easiest solution would be through Cura if it's available, because creating new solid bodies from the colored faces can be quite tedious.
