I have noticed some behavior when transition from standard supports and tree supports. The supports types will merge. I will see ZIg Zag merged with the tree supports. I checked the Support Line distance and Initial Layer Support Line distance do not always zero when selecting tree supports. This issue has occurred in previous versions of Cura but it is still present in 4.6. Thanks you Ian
