  1. Check the cables of your middle fan in the print head and check carefully if the wires are damaged. If there is something with the middle fan it produces a lot of interferences which disturbes the capacity sensor of the leveling procedure. Another issue could be that the wires of the sensor itself are not ok or the connection to the board. Try to reseat the connector in the back of the head and check the wires (white, red) on the sensor board. It is the board you see in the back when you open the door of the print head. And another reason could be that the build plate is too high or too low.
  2. Not 100% sure, but check the profile file (not in Cura, in the filesystem) of your printer. I think the default output format is configured there.
  3. There is a great plugin in the Marketplace where you can do a lot more with the filename. Check it out, I think you can achieve with it what you want.
  4. Big Sur is still beta, so it is possible that Cura doesn't work yet with Big Sur.
  5. Interesting, I did not know that.
  6. There is an option in the settings "Combing" which defaults to All. Change it to "Not in skin" to solve your issue.
  7. So it seems the fan speed value should have 3 digits, right?
  8. I guess you have an error in the file.
  9. The video link is working for me. One question, is the printer able to access the internet? What happens when you try to check for new firmware updates?
  10. It happens for example when the model gets loose during a print and the print head moves the part around. The material is somehow blocked when leaving the tip of the nozzle and filament goes through the silicon cover into the head. So you had luck that you have seen is early, otherwise your whole head gets floated. Always check the condition of the silicon cover, as soon you see that it is not ok anymore, like the right one on your picture, you should replace it.
  12. If there is a profile in the Marketplace, then you can just download the profile and it should also be transferred to the printer. Otherwise, select a generic material. Regarding 1.75mm filament: You cannot print with 1.75 filament on the S5. Bowden tubes and the print core are made for 2.85 and even when it works at the beginning you can get serious problems with it.

  15. Vorsicht!
  16. Seriously? You ask 2 minutes later after your first post! Best is to ask the Lotmaxx support or community. Cura is open source and many vendors fork it for their own version. We can help here only when you use the Ultimaker Cura, because we don't know the other versions.
  17. Maybe @gr5 has more ideas if another card is also not working.
  19. Ok, then it is clear, you probably did a small mistake when you changed the parameter. A single character too much or less can result in a bricked printer, because during the startup it hangs on loading/reading the configuration file. But anyway, the recovery procedure should work, maybe try to use a different sd card or try to reformat the current sd card and try it again.
  20. Have you tried a different sd card? And how have you bricked the printer? During some update or did it happen just during normal use? Because it is also possible that the Olimex board itself is the problem.
  21. A real homing is not good, because you will then never be on the exact position again when you continue your print. The home switch has too much tolerance. So moving away as you like is the better solution.
