  1. I’ve found that the side fans don’t activate during a print but they still work if I manually adjust their speed in the settings menu. I definitely haven’t adjusted any settings that could have caused this behaviour, and am wondering whether I’ll need to replace the fans?
  2. Thanks for the advice, I'll take a look. On an UM3 the fans are either side of the print head so I'll get a print going and see if they come on or not!
  3. Hi there, I've been printing on and off with an UM3 for a little over a year now but I'm definitely still a casual user with little experience of 3D printing in general. For the past year I've had very few problems, only a few failed prints here and there but recently I've started experiencing what I believe to be heat creep in the filament. I'm using Ultimaker PLA and the last few prints I've done have started out fine but after a few layers under extrusion begins due to the filament getting stuck in the bowden tube above the extruder. This is definitely due to the fi
  4. I figured it out! I perfomed a lift switch calibration ad that fixed i!
  5. Hi there, Trying to print on my new Ultimaker 3, when I start a print it goes into active levelling indefinately and doesn't actually start the print. Sometimes I'll get to the "Check calibration lift" switch menu and pressing "continue" at this point no matter the postion of the switch will either trigger another round of active levelling or cause the printer to say "print finished", at which point it goes straight back into active levelling until I abort the print. When I do an active levelling it statess that everything is in order so I'm not sure what else to do.
  6. Does anyone here know if its possible to print a functional internal M8 thread on the 5s' highest resolution?
