  1. HI @remicourtillon, Welcome to the UltiMaker Community 🎉 Changes like these on your profile might take some time to show up sometimes because they are dependent on the cache. The next time you encounter this you can try a hard refresh by refreshing with Ctrl Shift R. Right now searches that don't exactly match what you are looking for don't show up, that's something we hope to improve soon. Good to hear your issue has been resolved, Happy printing!
  2. Hi all, I split off this discussion about Linear Advance from the 5.6 discussion because it needs some more troubleshooting. Good luck!
  3. Hey @notanotheraccount, I agree with @GregValiant, it's odd that it's missing, because the information is available. https://github.com/Ultimaker/Cura/commit/6d0e0f2cbc826d03c76d75f3879d6b302351703d I'll bring it up to the team to see what they can do to restore/include it. Fingers crossed 🤞
  4. Hi @Morenotracer900, Lo siento, no puedo hablar español, pero creo que puedo ayudarte. Welcome to the UltiMaker Community 🎉 I split of your issue from the main discussion because it requires a little follow up. As far as I know, there are no changes that would cause your cooling to stop working. Do you have a project file for us? It contains the printer and settings we need for troubleshooting. To save a project file go to File -> Save project.
  5. The winners of the Halloween Challenge can be found on the Halloween Challenge Page: https://www.thingiverse.com/challenges/halloween2023 We are still learning how to host the challenges, highlighting the challenge winners is one of the things we want to improve. 💪
  6. Mi dispiace, non parlo italiano ma penso di poterti aiutare. Welcome to the UltiMaker Community 🎉 I believe it could be related, or at least tuned, with some Horizontal Expansion settings. Do you have a project file for us? It contains the printer and settings we need for troubleshooting. To save a project file go to File -> Save project.
  7. Hi @rimbo, Good catch! The update message does not appear on purpose. The time between Cura 5.5 and 5.6 was very short, and we didn't want to bother people without a Method to update because then it would feel like you updated for just a few features. We expect that people will slowly learn about this version and update it if they are interested in the new features and plan to show the update message again for Cura 5.7.

  9. Last year, Ultimaker and MakerBot merged resulting in a new company UltiMaker. This has resulted in changes on this forum like a new logo, and not only white printers but also black 3D printers in the available portfolio. If you want to learn more about them you can check them out on our website. Another big change is the adoption of the online 3D model library Thingiverse. Thingiverse is the world’s largest online 3D printing community of makers, educators, professionals, and designers who share a passion for discovering, making, and sharing 3D printable digital designs. The largest database for 3D print designs in the world–with over 2.5 million 3D print designs uploaded and over 20 million visitors a month. The website is now being maintained by the same people who also work on UltiMaker Cura. Here is an overview of the things we have introduced in the last year: Improved Search Functionality Finding what you need is now quicker and more accurate thanks to our improved search function. We believe we have resolved most of the search errors, but if you are still seeing unexpected search results please let us know. Customizer Back Online After some downtime, our customizer tool is back and better than ever, allowing you to personalize your 3D prints. New Thing Page One of the most noticeable changes is the updated style to match the rest of the UltiMaker brand, creating a cohesive and visually pleasing experience across all our sites. With the new design, it's easier to implement requests and it's a design we are slowly rolling out to the rest of the site. Seamless Login We've resolved numerous login issues and moved to a new software, allowing you to stay logged in. If you log in for the first time you might need to delete your Thingiverse cookies. You can find instructions on how to clear it here: https://www.lifewire.com/clear-cookies-for-one-site-4587347 Enhanced Download Analytics You now have better insights into the actual downloads and views from your uploaded Things. Mobile Optimization Thingiverse now offers improved support for mobile devices. As a result, we've removed the app from the store to focus on delivering a top-notch mobile web experience. Expanded Moderation Tools Keeping the Thingiverse community a comfortable and safe place is a top priority. We've expanded our moderation tools, empowering users and moderators to maintain a positive environment. Spam Reduction We've implemented rigorous measures to reduce spam accounts and maintain the integrity of our community. Updated Information Outdated lists of available printers, CAD software, file formats, and file requirements have been refreshed to align seamlessly with UltiMaker Cura, ensuring you have access to the latest and most accurate information. Changelog All Thingiverse updates can be tracked on our new changelog page, keeping you informed about the latest updates and improvements. You can check it out for yourself here. Thingiverse has already a thriving community on the Thingiverse Forum Groups, but we wanted to invite you to share feedback and insights by adding a new category on community.ultimaker.com. You can find it here. https://community.ultimaker.com/forum/172-ultimaker-thingiverse/ If you haven't done so, click here to have a look around on Thingiverse to see all the new changes for yourself.
  10. Hello, if you are new to the UltiMaker ecosystem let's take a minute and see what you will be able to find there that can be helpful to you. Last year, Ultimaker and MakerBot merged resulting in a new company UltiMaker. You can read more about that here. A big change is the adoption of the online 3D model library Thingiverse. The website was neglected for some time but is now being maintained by the same people who also work on UltiMaker Cura. That means that the developers are not only on the Thingiverse Forum Groups, but also spend their time on this forum answering Cura questions here on the UltiMaker Community. What would you like to see improved on UltiMaker Thingiverse?
  11. Hey @Irish1111, Behind the scenes, we are busy testing more material combinations to include them in the upcoming releases. The Labs extruder is a catch-all extruder that allows you to print with materials that are available outside of the filament portfolio. Even for the Generic Materials there needs to be a basic set of suggested settings available that our profile experts are working hard on to make available. I did notice that you can make custom materials with ABSr as a base, but I'm not sure if those are accepted by the printers 🤔.
  12. Bugs resolved since the Beta Release - Introduced Balanced and Solid profiles for 1C extruders to UltiMaker Method X and Method XL - Improved self-support for UltiMaker MethodX and MethodXL printers so the support extruder will not be used - The prime tower is now always enabled when the second extruder is used for the MethodX and MethodXL printers - Updated the default prime tower position so it doesn't prevent slicing for some printers - Fixed an issue where raft layers were partially printed - Slice information template variables were not available through start-end code formulas - Resolved an issue with 100% support roof for tree support, contributed by @thomasrahm
  13. Welcome to the UltiMaker Community 🎉 Je m'excuse, je ne parle pas français mais je pense que je peux vous aider. By default, Cura doesn't come with standard meshes except for the cube for the support blocker. But there are plug-ins available on the Marketplace that do come with meshes. You can try out Calibration Shapes. You can download it here: https://marketplace.ultimaker.com/app/cura/plugins/5axes/CalibrationShapes I hope this helps 😇
  14. Quick update on our side. We might have a fix for gcode variables and math. 🎉 It's a bit hard for us to test, but it should be available in the 5.6 Beta. Can you please try it out and let us know if it resolves your issue? You can download the build here: https://github.com/Ultimaker/Cura/releases
  15. Je m'excuse, je ne parle pas français mais je pense que je peux vous aider. Your issue reminds me of https://github.com/Ultimaker/Cura/issues/16249. You are the first one that's reporting that gcodes are not working. Do you have an example gcode that's not loading for you, than I can help.
