  1. I hope Ultimaker team is aware of the lack of feature compare to the price they charge for their products. I also made the switch from UMS3 + Prusa I3Mk3 for the BambuLab X1C. We still have a S5 at work but we are not planing investing in other Ultimaker product at this time.
  2. Can be multiple issues. Start with the calibration of the first layer; if your bed is warped maybe the material is not squished enought against the printing surface causing poor adhesion. Make sure your print surface is clean and/or add gluestick/ 3Dlac/Magigoo.
  3. Le polypropèlene est "autolubrifiant" et est un bon matériel pour réduire la friction mais je ne suis pas certain qu'il a une grande résistance à l'abrasion. Néanmoins, ce serait le matériel que je recommanderais pour l'application.
  4. When I was printing with PP, I put packaging tape (PP based) on the entire print surface. The printed object fuse with the tape and give a good bonding.
  5. I haven't try POM myself on the excellent Bambu X1C but based on the specs of the Bambu, you should be able to print POM.
  6. I'm using APC 1350VA with no problem. https://www.apc.com/ca/en/product/BR1350MS/apc-backups-pro-1350va-810w-tower-120v-10x-nema-515r-outlets-sine-wave-avr-usb-type-a-+-c-ports-lcd-user-replaceable-battery/ Depending on the print, the UPS can last 15-20 minutes.
  7. While you can change print settings to acheive better precision, usualy a 0,2mm gap is required between mating parts to being able to assemble them when printing on a UM printers (My experience is on UMS3 and UMS5). You can get better precision with other printer brands (0,02mm on Prusa I3Mk3 and 0,00 on Bambu lab X1C)
  8. I have both a S5 at work and a Bambu lab X1 Carbon + AMS at home. Before the X1 I had 2 Prusa Mk3 and an UM S3. When the bambu lab came out I rush out selling all of them. In my opinion the X1 is a far better value than anu UM printers. Don't get me wrong I love the S5 and S3 but they sell to high for the performance they bring.
  9. I'm looking formward for the demo. Having a first generation S5 at work (no air manager) that could be a nice upgrade but nothing compare to my personal Carbon X1C from Bambu lab... I would have expect more drastic changes from UM.
  10. It has to do with your setting. I would suggest you use the default to start with. On my system I can open your ptoject and the infill looks good.
  11. I get better results with my S3 and S5 with the default profile. I'll stick to 200°C
  12. Since the printhead needs to move from one column to the other, it might be a ozzing issue caused by the retraction settings not optimised for this material.
  13. Souvent c'est lié au "power recovery". Essaie de le désactiver avant de ré-imprimer.
  14. I would try by setting a temperature of 200°C on printcore A and with the use of a heat gun try to molten the plastic and remove it .
  15. I would recommend you check your printer (belt tension, re-thigten screw, lubrification, carrier and rods) and clean your print core.
  16. I would recommend the use of a dry box. There is a good one from Polymaker I'm sure you can easily find from any 3D printing store.
  17. Try to print slower, it will help PETG to stick with the undernest layer.
My 2 cents.
  19. I would also suspect a faulty power supply...
  20. I have the same issue too my my S3. Hopefully it's going to fix soon.
  21. Can you post the 3D solid file. I would like to have a look at it.
  22. Do you have any pictures to share? Have you tried adding a skirt ?
