  1. Please contact your reseller. They are different boards, number 1782 is UM3, and 1783 is UM3E. Seems you got the wrong one.
  2. Hi Francis. Have you opened a support ticket? Alternatively, I would be very curious in getting some images and videos to see what sort of scenario your stuck in. As I understand, your struggling to retract and pull the material back when its cold? This could be because the filament is solidified within the print core nice and strong. In any case, you should be able to release a Bowden tube, and cut the filament out. When the feeder lever release, and the filament cut from the material station entry point, you should be able to just by hand, (with the pro bundle turned off), pull out the offending filament. If you want, feel free to PM me with all sorts of additional pictures /info. Best
  3. Hi Mahtt. Your log files are being detected as malicious; and my browsers won't let me donwload them. Quite sad to see that the corrupted screen persists!
  4. Thanks for the reports. Just out of interest, Are you all using Ultimaker S5 or Ultimaker S5 Pro Bundles? We'll look into this.
  5. It has been fixed, thanks for the report. Looks like the link was not updated correctly !
  6. Hi Francis, The the 600 W is indeed the maximum power output of the Pro Bundle setup, i.e inclusive of the MS and AM . Average power consumption is not a value we give, but maximum power consumption occurs when heating the bed. The heated bed by large acccounts for most of the consumed power, so the average power consumption will largely be dependant on whether you are printing high temperature materials, or standard PLA. Hope this helps.
  7. Hi ZD, Thanks for your feedback. Question - are you missing the tuning parameters because of a lack of quality prints? My own experience with the machine mirrors Smithys, it is reliable with great print quality out of the box. Tuning after the print job is started is understandable, but in general we find that its more important that we get reliability and quality in one go correct. Most (not all, ofcourse) people want to hit the print button and just collect their item after the fact, no hassle. This was deemed priority number one. Showing stats is also request we're aware of, so you'll definately see this at some future firmware update, but I cannot speculate as to when .
  8. Hi Roli, Could you send in a ticket please? If the ER86 is persistant, it could be that you have been affected by a fan issue. You can read more about it here. Key information: Note: If the tips above have not helped to resolve the error message, there could be a hardware problem with the Air Manager fan. Ultimaker is investigating these issues and is looking at the batch numbers of the fans. You can help by sharing your Air Manager fan’s batch number with Ultimaker Support. The document below describes how to remove the filter housing and how to open it up to access the fan. When opening the ticket, please share follow the provided instructions and share the fan batch number. If confirmed as part of our ongoing hypothesis, we'll replace the fan for you. Cheers.
  9. Hi all, We've released 6.5.0 for the S-line printers to the latest firmware channel. There's some real nice updates in there, check out the release notes page. Just to highlight a few: Scan USB drive for material profiles. It will now be possible to add a material profile to the S-line printer from a USB drive. The printer can update its material list with any missing material profiles found in the print job files (UFP files) of an inserted USB stick. Import the profile by navigating to maintenance -> import material profiles. This allows for offline synchronizing of material profiles Refresh screen on ER998. The ER998 errors show up when an unknown exception is raised. The error only affects the printer screen. The printer remains operational and can still print and be operated remotely. The ER998 screen now offers a refresh screen option which can be used safely when the error is raised, even during printing As always, let us know how you get along with this new and improved firmware!

  17. Hi all, firmware 5.8.2 is now available for your S-line printers. check it here:
  18. Hi all, Today we've released another patch upgrade for the S-line printers - you can now download firmware 5.8.2. In this release we have introduced a loading error wizard for the Pro Bundle which catches errors whereby loading would have failed. The wizard provides the user with a chance to recover from this error. Read more about this wizard here : ultimaker.com/loadingwizard Furthermore, improvements to the NFC reading mean that the Pro Bundle should more often correctly read the filament type and material left. Release notes: Introduced loading error wizard for end of filament. When a critical error occurs during loading at an end of filament (ER52, ER54 & ER56), users will now be shown an error recovery wizard. By following the steps and correcting the fault users can prevent the critical errors from showing up and ensure their print resumes correctly. NFC improvements. Improvements have been done to NFC spool detection. The Pro Bundle can now more reliably read the NFC tag of the material loaded. The chance of an unknown material detection is significantly decreased, leading to less chance of orange exclamation mark. For best results, always load the material by placing on the left hand side of the loading bay. Theres some small bug fixes in there too. As always, let us know how you experience this firmware. And to reiterate - soon, we will release firmware 6.0 which includes a Debian upgrade to the system. There will not be a way to downgrade from 6.0.
  19. Thanks fsaraji, So what you encountering is all known behaviour - PVA will only retract after 60 hours of being parked above the filament. PVA is in particular vulnerable to brittle breakage. I'm afraid that the reason you are encountering the unload button being grayed out is because of your tendency to manhandle the machine, as you describe in your first point. The machine is not designed with the intention of constant reboots. You should give it time until its processes are completed. So if in your eagerness to remove material you power down the machine, before you confirm removal of the printed part, then I believe after reboot the pro bundle may keep the unload button grayed out. The best advice I can give you is please be patient with the machine, and let its procedures finish before deciding to reboot and manually remove the material. Furthermore, it should not really be necessary to unload the material so often as you describe. Even if material is in the forwarded state, when you start a print job with other materials that are loaded in the MS, the pro bundle will automatically begin the switching procedure.
  20. Hi @fsaraji, Terribly sad to hear the pro bundle still doesnt meet your expectations. Could you please elaborate a little more on your usage of the Pro Bundle, and where exactly our shortcomings are? You claim that manual violence is needed to manually unload the filament, but this is simply, not true. The Pro Bundle will display the material as engaged as long as the material is forwarded into the printer - so this could be either in the printhead, or whilst its parked above it. After a print job, once the confirm print removal button has appeared - and it therefore is safe to remove the printed part, the unload button becomes active and you can initiate the material unload. What is also useful for us is if you could give a bit more detail about how you got to your state with the unload button not functioning. Did you encounter this after a print job, or perhaps you rebooted the entire machine? Photos of the printhead with the filament position are also very useful. Thank you in advance.
  21. Hi Link, Cramped roadmap is still cramped. Its actually very difficult to reach an uncramped state 😅
  22. Hi all, We've released a new patch upgrade to firmware 5.8.0 today. All Ultimaker S5 and Ultimaker S3's will be able to upgrade, but the main added value is for the S5-Pro Bundle. You can read the full release notes here. Notably though, I would like to highlight the following: Unload button on screen. With firmware 5.8.0, a new feature was introduced whereby after a print filament was parked above the printhead, before subsequently retracting to the Material Station. This occurred on a timer. We have now added an unload material functionality on the display of the Pro Bundle, so that users can manually trigger this action when the material is parked above the printhead and after clicking on the Confirm Removal button on screen. Please note that there can be a delay when clicking on the Unload button, before the material starts to unload. Regarding the delay, this can be pronounced after certain machine actions, e.g after a total system reboot. Furthermore, certain operations such as aborting a print job after it has just been sent to the printer can lead to a double retraction of the material, which would be evident by a material retracting further and further into the Bowden tube. Though this may look unnatural, the system compensates for this and will begin the next printjob taking into account the filament position. Lastly, I would like to mention a bit about the 5.8 firmware. Theres a bit more work to be done on this branch of the firmware, but I would like to share that the next big version will be 6.0. The 6.0 firmware version will be significant firmware upgrade because it will update the printers internal Debian system. What this means is when updating to firmware 6.0, there will be not be a possibility to revert to 5.8, or older firmware. More details on this will follow as we get closer to release.
  23. Hi jkcz, i totally understand. Regarding the nozzle staying above the part, could you perhaps share your models 3mf with me so I can try investigate? You can send it to me via a pm.
  24. @jkcz I dont know of any tricks to get around it, but there are still many tricks the devs have that will show up in upcoming firmware(s) that will likely tackle this issue
