  1. Thank you for the reply. No, that plastic piece is definitely one of those flimsy little sleeves - thin, clear and flexible. It was literally in the hole for the temperature probe inside the heatblock and I have no idea how or why. I'll just leave it out since I can't imagine it had a purpose, and I still don't know how come it didn't melt. And you were correct about the plastic; there was a blob of polypropylene that took me about 20 minutes to dig out with a heat gun and needle. Thanks!
  2. Had a massive polypropylene leak all over the place so had to take things down apart in order to clean everything. Two quick questions; 1. When I was about to put back the temperature sensor into the heat block, it looks like there is a little piece of flimsy plastic seal that slipped off at some point? I have no idea how that ended up in the heat block, where it's supposed to go, if I need it at all and how it survived in the first place; 2. How deep does the heater cartridge have to go in? I find it very hard to push in there... The instructions say "fully", but I get more something like this: Thank you!
