It doesn't appear to have happened since I installed the latest version. However it had only shown up this one time so far so I didn't expect it would. I have probably opened up 5.1.0 about 5 times. So it isn't happening every time at least not with the latest version. I didn't really test long enough with 4.8 once I got that message. I just jumped on here then started to uninstall it. Maybe not worth the time looking into it further, I am happy to help with more information. I am more inclined now to believe that maybe Avast just got it wrong or it was a complete once off. Maybe it was scanning for sensitive documents at the same time I opened Cura. If you want more information or to test anything let me know. I will just put it down to high-energy particles from solar flares.

Thanks for your reply. I uninstalled 4.8 and installed the new version right before I read your reply. There is rarely a task running in task manager that I am not aware of and I basically monitor running applications daily. In saying that, no protection software is perfect and there is always a risk the Cura.exe has been hijacked even if it is very low. I also am unable to recall if any plugins were installed so sorry if that doesn't help. It didn't even get to the GUI so shouldn't be the file open dialog, it was on execution it started going after the PDF documents. This is the first potential intrusion I have had since 2019 on this computer and I run it with security in mind over pretty much everything else. This is the truncated log from today, I have not opened Cura on this computer for a long time before hand so I have excluded that part (March 2021 was the last log entry before these). Avast detected Cura.exe was trying to access a number of PDF documents (23 total) from various locations on my hard drive. Not just in my documents but a folder I have C:\Data where I store random work files. This is really worrying. There should be no reason for Cura to read pdf documents from my hard drive. The one showed just has the file name and location protected. It is a Checkout Receipt from an online store. All of the pdf's it is trying to access appear to be invoices and such. Very scary...

I have an Ender 5 on the way and this is my first time using Cura. I downloaded Cura 4 but it seems that the profile from Creality is in json format and just from scouting around the internet it looks like Cura 4 doesn't use the same configuration files as Cura 3. How would I go about importing the following information into Cura to setup an Ender 5?
