  1. Hello. I had a print run out of filament on a Monoprice Maker Select V2 that I had sliced with Cura. I had issues trying to resume and appreciate any thoughts. Every time the print would begin extruding to resume, the filament would break. I tried this about 4 times and with a second spool. I followed the tips here: https://www.instructables.com/id/continue-failed-3d-print/ And I now see the thread here: Basically, I used the printer to measure its own Z axis and erased all of the Cura GCODE above that layer. But did I erase something important that prevents it from breaking its own filament? I've started the print over now (from nothing), and everything is working normally. But I'll likely want to be able to resume like this in the future and hope to learn how to fix the process. Thanks! Zack
