  1. I appreciate all yr advice.one last question.do printers get many firmware/software updates? If an update is available.how do you update the printer.usb or SD card?
  2. I bought a geeetech 3d wifi module thinking it might plug into the printer when I get it for wifi printing from tablet etc,but nobody I've talked knows if that would work. The sellers of it said it would. So we,all wait and see.
  3. As a newbie I read every where about using a Rasberry Pi or Arduino, I think I know what they are,eg small computers, but why hook them up to three d printers? Is it to modify the firmware? I have been having chats to the supplier of my soon to arrive ender 3 pro about this and he says it will have the latest firmware and doesnt need any extras.I await peoples thoughts, thank you in advance
  4. I agree with dreadedhill.Im new to this and first thought that you picked an object via pc using repetier etc, then sliced it,then sent it to the printer via usb cable, where it went to the sd card on the printer, once it loaded all those files, the printer started and the pc becomes a, redundant or b if you want you can moniter the print. Thats the way I envisioned it. Not taking microsd card in and out. Tho I have bought an microsd card extension cable, for when the slot is hard to access ,like on my first 3d printer the Tronxy xy100
