Check this video on YouTube, in this video is explained how to Pause at height/layer... this option in in Cura for a long long time... Since I have troubles with in in 4.4.0/4.4.1 it is better to use 4.1.0 till they have fixed it!

Dat bevestigd dus dat het een probleem is met de rechten in Windows. Mooi dat het hiermee is opgelost, kun jij zonder omweg gewoon Cura starten 😉

Vermoed dat het iets met rechten in Windows te maken heeft... kan zijn dat een update van Windows de boel voor je verkloot heeft... Ik heb hier software draaien die ik al niet standaard in de map "program files" laat installeren omdat dat problemen geeft... Gebruik je een andere map in de root van C : dan voorkom je dat Windows met zijn rechten toewijzen de boel verkloot!

Met eerdere versies had je dus geen probleem?

Soms wil er wel eens wat stuk gaan na een update... dan zit er niks anders op dan wachten tot het gefixt wordt, danwel stapje terug doen naar een oudere versie.

Probeer Cura eens te starten als administrator...

Lucky me... still had 4.1.0 installed on another computer... and yes I can conform that Pause at Height works like it should in that version... They broke it in 4.2.x, fixed it in 4.3 and broke it again in a later version... Hopefully they get it fixed again!

Hello, After a long time I was trying to print a part in two colours, using the Pause at Height (like I used it before, some time ago). Printer is paused at the desired layer, could change filament and resume the print. I noticed that the Y-position was incorrect. Was still on version 4.4.0 so decided to install 4.4.1. Started a new print with exactly the same result. Had a problem before with the Pause at Height option --> Hope this will be fixed soon, else I'm going to install 4.1.0 again (the version I'm sure this option works like it should)...

Did you check Start G-code in Machine Settings/Printer?

Remove slicer software, all settings and profiles and re-install... or use another computer 😉

In Cura yiu can add Post Processing Scripts, Pause at height is one of them. Once added, you will see a little icon on the slicer screen. Until you click the icon and not delete the script, the printer will stop in every print you create in Gcode. "pause at height" or other things can't be put by accident in the Gcode-file... 😉

Sinds ik met 3D printen ben begonnen gebruik ik al het huismerk van 123-3D (Jupiter serie) en ben daar uiterst tevreden over. Zoals altijd lees je op internet veelal slechte reviews/recensies, vraag is altijd hoeveel daar waar van is. Heb in het begin ook best lopen klooien, hoofdzakelijk door het niet juist afstellen van het printbed (daar moet je toch wat handigheid in krijgen), eenmaal dat onder controle was het een kwestie van instellen temperatuur printbed en nozzle... Heb het printbed op 50/60 graden staan, de nozzle op 205/210...

No need to feel silly...😉 I was searching the internet and found by accident your post on this forum. I messed up a few prints and was sure that my printer was ok... the only thing that had changed was the CURA-version. Now it is confirmed we know for sure... workarround: installing V4.1.0 or v4.3 beta...

It's definitely a "bug" in V4.2.1. Have installed v4.1.0 and created the same gcode-file. After pause printing is resumed on the right height!

I seem to have the same problem, "pause at height" worked for me with previous versions, but with the latest 4.2.1 version the nozzle is too high when print resumes...
