I will add another voice to this: We relied on this option for queuing up print jobs across our printers (university library). Having it removed has resulted in hiccups in our process, removed our ability to queue up multiple jobs ahead of time so that our student assistants can just remove the completed jobs and let the queue continue. Since this feature is an annoyance to some, wouldn't it be easily possible to have this "ask before printing" or "assign to specific printer" feature as something that can be toggled off or on? So that those of us to really need it can keep it, and those who hate the extra click can just opt out?
