  1. After some more tinkering, I figured it out. In order to have custom supports to be placed on the model (as well as on the build plate) I had to have the support setting set to Everywhere. The missing supports showed up after this. In the end, this didn't produce the desired result as I didn't want supports inside the model. So I ended up enabling supports "Everywhere" and then using the support blocker instead to prevent supports inside the model. Hope this helps someone else.
  2. Using Cura 4.4.1. Having trouble getting custom supports to work fully. As you can see in the picture I have 2 areas created for custom supports. After slicing: only supports are being generated in one area. I am guess it has to do with the small area for the supports. Here is a picture of the gap: I am pretty sure a setting under support is messing this up. The gap is about 3mm. Here are my support settings (Note: generate supports only click so you can see the settings, I sliced with this turned off): Notice anything that would cause supports to not be generated in this small area? Thanks!
  3. I would like to thank you for your responses. It has been a while since I have had to browse through the settings and I made a boneheaded move. When I was looking at the list of settings under "Build Plate Adhesion" after clicking the gear icon, I mistakenly though "Brim Only on Outside" was disabled because I didn't see a check mark beside it. When in fact that was the visibility setting I was looking at. After making it visible, it was in fact enabled so disabling it fixed everything. So used to looking at numeric input I guess the double boolean threw me off.
  4. If you look at the enclosed picture, I am trying to print a model with a thin base pattern. The print failed because it popped off the bed. I want to print it with a brim but it is only placing a brim on the outside of the model (teal colour is the brim, yellow is the base of the model) while I want it on the inside as well. I know there is a setting in Cura 4.4.0 under "Build Plate Adhesion" called "Brim Only on Outside" but I have this disabled. Is there any way to force Cura to put brim on everything that touches the build plate? Thanks
