Repetier host? Not familiar. Will this read the .gcode settings so I can replicate them for another model?

I tried last night to open the .gcode file for one of the sample models I got with my printer, but the latest version of Cura wouldn't open it. :-( Any assistance would be helpful. I'm trying to get the settings for the support structure, because it was easy and clean to remove. Thoughts? ~S
