  1. I'm having this issue also. I've been printing for years using Cura and this is the first time I've encountered this problem. I just recently updated to 4.4.0 last week and loaded in a large file that would take 5+ days to print when I noticed going into day 2 that it was printing stuff OVER AIR. The oozed out filament had nowhere to adhere to so when it moved to the next point in the print it started to build up spaghetti. I went back to the slicer to see if I was imagining things and there it was.. hanging in mid-air to start printing was a tiny island.. two days into the print. Wth? Any idea why this is happening? I've attached a screen shot of the sliced model and my settings. Hopefully there's a fix for this that I've missed.
