  1. Assuming your using Cura. Have you gone to preferences / printers / connect via network and activated it as a networked printer?

  4. Awesome, looking forward to it. Thank you for the heads up.
  5. Correct that has proven to be a temporary fix for me as well. What does happen is it will eventually go black again and we go back and do it over and over after each print because at some point in long prints it blacks out again. Hopefully they get this figured out.
  6. I have had the issue with at least the past 3 updates. I've lost count.
  7. Thank you and it is ethernet connected. Eagerly awaiting next update.
  8. Thank you for the suggestions gents. Obviously the 5.6 update did not fix this.
  9. Is anyone else having these persistent dropped camera issues? I'm running an S5 with all the latest software and firmware updates. However, the printer keeps dropping the printer connection and any random interval it wants to. It will cut in and out for a while, yes I know it re-polls every 10 seconds or so attempting to reconnect and will for a short period of time. Eventually it just stops and becomes "unreachable". This is unacceptably frustrating. As most of us are, it is work from home time. We are an essential business and must keep operational. I have people in the plant manning the printers and working as my hands, but alas at the end of the day I get to keep watch over the printers, just in case. When a printer blacks out in the middle of a 2 or 3 day print its just wrong. It becomes sit and pray time. As far as I know "reset cura connect" cannot be run while the machine is operational. If it is, someone please explain how. I can not find it anywhere. We run a reset after this happens and a job has completed and its back to square one everything working. I have cloud operational, my IT guys have been all over the connections and there is nothing that should inhibit connecting. My other 5 printers have Zero remote connection issues with cameras, just the Ultimaker. This printer is my top out performing printer, except for the damn camera. If we cannot figure out how to remedy this going forward, when my Capex requests come up I will be forced to look elsewhere. That is something I would hate to do, but working blind now a days is not possible. Come on guys there has to be a solution. Everyone else has zero issue with remote visibility. If anyone has a fix, toss it up here. I need a solution. Thanks.
  10. The "solution" I have found is to run "Reset Cura Connect". I believe it was under the maintenance tab after firmware update. I do still have some connectivity issues with the camera , I work from home so it does becomesa bit of an issue when I cannot monitor. They do seem to have some interface issues, the fairly regular updates both soft and firm, seem to indicate that. Heres to hoping they figure out what is actually going on. Ideamaker on my Raised 3D connects flawlessly, I hope they get to that quickly.
  11. Thanks for the reply. I will give it a shot. Working remotely so I occasionally have to wait for someone in the plant to address on the factory side. I will update when I get some results. Fixed it ! Thanks for the help.
  12. Thanks for the feedback. Yes I have already tried removing and replacing as well as the usb trick. Have not been able to unbrick it yet. I am open to any other suggestions. Thanks
  13. I have an aborted print that just seems to be hung in the S5s' que. When I go to manage printers the print shows as aborted. Going to the 3 dot pull down the only option I have is duplicate print job. If I que up a new print I get "unavailable" I have rebooted several times, firm ware update. Nothing seems to effect the brick. The aborted project lives there. Anyone have a suggestion how to remedy this situation?
  14. I'm having the same type of issue. My S5 is hung from an aborted print yet when I go to manage the only option I get is to duplicate print job. There is no option to delete. I have tried queing up another job to no avail. Rebooted with same result. Firmware update same result. Machine has turned into a brick. Any suggestions on where to go from here?
  15. Magigoo has been working flawlessly for us here. Goes on easy, allows me to run a lower 50C bed temp and washes off easily with water. Once your bed has dropped to room temp, in most cases you can just pick your prints off.
